We're taking a page out of Iceland's Jólabókaflóð, or “Christmas book flood" tradition and hosting a holiday book exchange event at Obec.

—Bring a WRAPPED book(s) to add to the book pile.

—End up with a new book(s) at the end of the event!

—Hang out and enjoy your book and your beer with fellow book and beer lovers!

Think: white elephant exchange -- but with good books!

PS: Our Obec Book Club meets monthly, mostly on last Mondays. The next Book Club meeting is Dec 29, when we’ll be discussing Bel Canto by Amy Patchett
