A happy trend – live music at local brewery taprooms, at last

 KENDALL JONES  JUNE 10, 2022

I am a musician as well as a beer lover. (Above, me and the fellas on stage at the Washington Brewers Festival.) I especially dig music when paired with fresh craft beer. I am not sure what happened and I don’t care, but a lot of breweries are hosting live music these days.

Once upon a time, it was rare. Now, especially around Seattle, more and more breweries are offering live music at their taprooms. And why not? Below I share a list of breweries that regularly host live music, or have announced a series of live music events.

Because I want to help… Breweries, I implore you. Please let the world know that you’re hosting live music. As a musician and a music fan, it makes me sad to see posts that say “Happening now…” or “Tonight…” Why not let us know a day or two in advance? Got a series, tell the world. Social media, newsletters, whatever. Let us know. I may sound a bit bossy, but seriously, if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, who cares if it makes a sound?
